Getting started with the extension
Installation in 3 steps
- Add the extension from the Chrome Web Store (free, 5 seconds).
- Browse to one of your favorite listing sites.
- Paste or import a screenshot of the vehicle into the side panel — the AI identifies the model and generates the report in seconds.
Launch your first analysis
- Click the Extensions icon (puzzle) in the top right of Chrome.
- Select CarReliabilityReport.
- Click "Open analysis panel".
- Click "Capture tab" to take a screenshot of the vehicle.
- Click "Analyze" — the report arrives in under two minutes.
The report appears directly in your browser in under two minutes. To take it to the seller, use the "Print" button at the bottom of the report.

Your 1st full report is free at installation — no credit card required. Then two options:
- Unlimited free — reliability summary for every vehicle, no limit.
- Full report — detailed analysis, downloadable as PDF, from €7.99.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. No banking information is stored by CarReliabilityReport.
Credit questions
Do my credits expire?
No. Your reports remain available as long as your account is active.
Can I get a refund?
If you encounter a technical issue preventing the use of a purchased report, contact us — we will find a solution (re-credit or refund). See our Terms of Use for details.
Can I transfer my credits to another account?
No, credits are tied to the account that purchased them.

About the analysis
Why does the report take up to two minutes?
The AI agent analyses the screenshot to identify the exact model, consults official reliability databases and generates a structured summary. This delay ensures report accuracy.
Is the report 100% reliable?
Our extension synthesizes public data (breakdown reports, expert feedback, known mechanical watchpoints). The report is a decision-making tool: it does not replace a technical inspection or a mechanic's assessment during a vehicle visit.
In which languages is the report available?
Six languages: French, English, German, Dutch, Spanish and Italian. You can photograph a vehicle sold abroad and receive the report in your language — ideal for cross-border imports.
Does the extension work for new vehicles?
The extension is optimized for used vehicles. For new vehicles, historical reliability data does not apply in the same way.
About usage
The AI does not correctly identify the vehicle — what should I do?
Make sure the screenshot shows the vehicle clearly in full (preferably from the front or three-quarter view), with good lighting. Avoid dark or heavily cropped photos. If the problem persists, contact us with the screenshot concerned.
Does the extension slow down my browsing?
No. CarReliabilityReport is a passive assistant: it only activates when you open the panel and click "Analyze". No script runs in the background on pages you visit.
Can I use the extension on mobile?
For now, the extension is available only on Chrome desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux) and Chromium-compatible browsers (Edge, Brave).
About the account
How do I log in?
Click the extension icon, then "Log in". You can create an account with your email address.
I forgot my password.
Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder then contact us.
How do I delete my account?
Send a request to certifiedreliablecar@gmail.com from the email address associated with the account. Deletion is permanent and results in the loss of remaining credits.
Privacy and data
CarReliabilityReport strictly respects your privacy:
- No passive collection: the extension only accesses data when you click "Capture tab" or manually import a screenshot.
- No unnecessary personal data: we only collect what is necessary for the service to function (account, credits, report history linked to your account).
- No data resale. Ever.
- Secure payments via Stripe — no banking data is retained by CarReliabilityReport.
