Getting started with the extension
Installation in 3 steps
- Add the extension from the Chrome Web Store (free, 5 seconds).
- Browse to one of your favorite listing sites.
- Open a listing that interests you — the extension will automatically detect the vehicle.
Launch your first analysis
- Click the Extensions icon (puzzle) in the top right of Chrome.
- Select CarReliabilityReport.
- Click "Open analysis panel".
- Click "Analyze this listing".
The report appears directly in your browser in under three minutes. To take it to the seller, use the "Print" button at the bottom of the report.

CarReliabilityReport natively detects listings on the main European platforms.

Credit questions
Do my credits expire?
No. Your reports remain available as long as your account is active.
Can I get a refund?
If you encounter a technical issue preventing the use of a purchased report, contact us — we will find a solution (re-credit or refund). See our Terms of Use for details.
Can I transfer my credits to another account?
No, credits are tied to the account that purchased them.

About the analysis
Why does the report take up to three minutes?
The AI agent retrieves data specific to the chassis, engine, and exact year of the model, then cross-references multiple reliability sources before generating a structured summary. This delay ensures report accuracy.
Is the report 100% reliable?
Our extension synthesizes public data (breakdown reports, expert feedback, known mechanical watchpoints). The report is a decision-making tool: it does not replace a technical inspection or a mechanic's assessment during a vehicle visit.
In which languages is the report available?
Four languages: French, English, German, Spanish. You can analyze a German listing and receive the report in English — ideal for cross-border imports.
Does the extension work for new vehicles?
The extension is optimized for used vehicle listings. For new vehicles, historical reliability data does not apply in the same way.
About usage
The extension does not detect the listing — what should I do?
First check that you are on a supported platform (list above) and on the detail page of a listing (not a results list). If the problem persists, reload the page, then contact us with the URL of the listing concerned.
Does the extension slow down my browsing?
No. CarReliabilityReport is a passive assistant: it only activates when you explicitly click "Analyze this listing". No script runs in the background on listing pages.
Can I use the extension on mobile?
For now, the extension is available only on Chrome desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux) and Chromium-compatible browsers (Edge, Brave).
About the account
How do I log in?
Click the extension icon, then "Log in". You can create an account with your email address.
I forgot my password.
Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder then contact us.
How do I delete my account?
Send a request to certifiedreliablecar@gmail.com from the email address associated with the account. Deletion is permanent and results in the loss of remaining credits.
Privacy and data
CarReliabilityReport strictly respects your privacy:
- No passive collection: the extension only reads page content when you click "Analyze this listing".
- No unnecessary personal data: we only collect what is necessary for the service to function (account, credits, report history linked to your account).
- No data resale. Ever.
- Secure payments via Stripe — no banking data is retained by CarReliabilityReport.
