The Volvo EX30 is a mechanically very well-designed vehicle thanks to Geely's SEA platform, offering first-class performance and decent efficiency. However, its launch was marred by immature software architecture, causing numerous electronic inconveniences. If you are considering a recent used purchase, demand that the vehicle is up-to-date with the latest software fixes (OTA). The Single Motor Extended Range version is the most rational choice. Be aware, however, of the radical ergonomics (everything on the central screen) which requires significant adaptation time and will not suit all drivers.
