Volkswagen T-Cross I Facelift (Phase 2 - C11) The Volkswagen T-Cross received a mid-cycle facelift unveiled in mid-2023, with deliveries starting in 2024. This facelift corrects the main flaw of phase 1: the perceived quality of the interior. The dashboard now features soft-touch materials, the infotainment is updated (floating screens from 8 to 9.2 inches), and the exterior receives new bumpers as well as the IQ.Light (Matrix LED) lighting signature on high trim levels. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING DIESEL: In line with the B-SUV segment trend and anti-pollution standards (Euro 6e), Volkswagen has definitively abandoned diesel for the T-Cross since late 2020. The facelift (2023-2025) is therefore exclusively offered with gasoline engines (and Flexfuel in some markets). To acquire a diesel T-Cr
The facelifted Volkswagen T-Cross (2023-2025) has reached maturity. By correcting its main flaw (the hard plastics of phase 1), it once again becomes one of the most well-rounded B-SUVs on the market. Regarding diesel, this powertrain must be mourned for new vehicles. However, the 1.0 TSI EVO2 gasoline engines (especially the 115 hp) have become so efficient that highway fuel consumption remains very low (5.5 to 6 L/100 km), making the absence of the TDI painless for 90% of users. It is a highly recommendable, safe, and practical purchase, although the lack of mild hybridization is regrettable at this price point. Opt for the 1.0 TSI 115 hp with a manual gearbox for absolute reliability, or with DSG7 for urban comfort (accepting the slight jerks inherent to this transmission).
