The Toyota Aygo X is a pragmatic choice disguised as an impulse buy. If you're looking for a city car with an assertive look, extremely reliable, and inexpensive to run, it's an excellent choice. The 1.0 VVT-i engine is a monument to robustness that will protect you from costly breakdowns. However, if you regularly carry rear passengers or do a lot of highway driving, look elsewhere: its dynamic performance and interior space are strictly limited to urban and peri-urban use. Buy it with your eyes closed for reliability, but with full awareness of its practical aspects.
