The first-generation Skoda Kamiq (code NW4) is the smallest SUV in the Czech manufacturer's range. 🎯 Verdict

The Skoda Kamiq is one of the most rational and welcoming urban SUVs on the market. Regarding the 1.6 TDI: It's a double-edged sword. If you drive more than 25,000 km per year, mainly on expressways or motorways, it will prove to be an extremely economical and reliable companion. However, if your use is mainly urban or peri-urban (short trips), you should avoid it. Clogging of the DPF, EGR valve, and AdBlue issues will negate all fuel savings. For 80% of buyers, the 1.0 TSI 110/115 hp is the most relevant choice: it is cheaper to buy, very reliable, and consumes only one liter more per 100 km compared to the diesel, without the emissions control constraints.
