🎯 Verdict

The Skoda Fabia IV is undoubtedly one of the most accomplished and rational city cars on the European market. By finally adopting the MQB-A0 platform, it offers the performance of a small compact. In terms of reliability, the absence of complex diesel engines or new hybrid systems works in its favor: the TSI EVO blocks are benchmarks for durability if well maintained. The ideal choice is the 1.0 TSI 95 hp or 110 hp with a manual gearbox, which offers the best price/performance/reliability ratio. Versions equipped with the DSG7 gearbox require a rigorous test drive on the used market to ensure the absence of premature clutch wear. A highly recommended purchase, provided that the central screen's software updates have been carried out.
