🎯 Verdict

Expert verdict The Skoda Citigo is one of the most rational and reliable city cars of its generation. Forget looking for a diesel model, it does not exist. The 3-cylinder 1.0 MPI engine (60 or 75 hp) is a success: it is extremely robust, economical, and perfectly suited to the car. Buying advice: Absolutely avoid versions equipped with the ASG automated gearbox, whose drivability is disastrous and reliability doubtful. Favor a 1.0 MPI 60 hp version with a manual gearbox (the difference with the 75 hp is imperceptible in the city) with a clear maintenance history. It is a highly recommended purchase for a new driver or as a second urban vehicle.
