The 5th generation Renault Scénic (Scénic E-Tech Electric) marks a complete break with its monospace past. Based on the CMF-EV platform (shared with the Mégane E-Tech and Nissan Ariya), it transforms into a 100% electric family SUV. Voted « Car of the Year 2024 », it stands out for its excellent spaciousness, its contained weight for the category (around 1,850 kg with the large battery), and its OpenR Link infotainment system based on Google Automotive, which is currently one of the best on the market. Important note: Unlike previous generations, this model is exclusively available with an electric powertrain (BEV). There are no petrol, diesel, or hybrid versions.

The Renault Scénic E-Tech is one of the most accomplished electric offerings on the current European market. By abandoning the monospace silhouette for that of an aerodynamic SUV, it gains sex appeal while retaining an excellent family vocation. Its great strength lies in its Google Automotive interface and its energy efficiency, particularly on the 87 kWh version which completely eliminates range anxiety. Reliability is expected to be very good, as Renault has ironed out the kinks of this platform with the Mégane E-Tech. It is a highly recommended purchase for a family looking to go 100% electric.
