Reliability score : 8.5/10

The first-generation Renault Koleos (internal code HY0) is the result of the Renault-Nissan Alliance. 🎯 Verdict

The Renault Koleos I is the best-kept secret of the used car market. SNUBBED for its style, it hides an extremely proven Nissan technical base under its bodywork. With the petrol engine (2.5 16v), it is a highly recommended purchase for its almost infallible reliability, provided you accept significant fuel consumption. It is the ideal vehicle for low-mileage drivers looking for a comfortable, robust, and inexpensive 4x4 SUV. However, be sure to prioritize a model whose CVT gearbox has been drained, or plan for this operation immediately after purchase.
