🎯 Verdict

The Renault Austral is a highly compelling family SUV that successfully erases the memory of the mediocre Kadjar. Its interior tech and handling (with 4Control) are top-tier. Buying Advice: If you prioritize absolute reliability and smooth driving, the 1.3 TCe MHEV (140/160) is the undisputed choice; its engine is bulletproof and well-proven. If you want the 1.2 E-Tech Full Hybrid for its fuel economy, we strongly advise avoiding early 2022 models unless you have absolute proof that all software updates (gearbox, inverter, BMS) have been performed by a Renault dealer.
