The Porsche 911 (992) borders on perfection in the sports car category. Its mechanical reliability is excellent, with the 3.0L and 4.0L blocks being benchmarks of robustness if well maintained. The only real black marks concern the onboard electronics (especially on the 2019-2020 model years) and the prohibitive cost of certain specific wear parts (Lithium battery, PADM mounts, PCCB brakes). Purchase is highly recommended, but favor a model benefiting from the Porsche Approved warranty to protect yourself against hefty electronic or peripheral bills. The Carrera S or GTS (992.1) version represents the ideal balance point.
