🎯 Verdict

The facelifted MG ZS EV (2021-2024) is an extremely rational choice for anyone looking for an affordable family electric SUV. The hardware reliability (motor, battery) is very good, supported by a 7-year warranty that covers major risks. The chosen battery chemistries (LFP for city/suburban, NMC for long trips) are relevant. However, the user experience is often marred by a fickle software (iSMART) and minor electronic bugs (12V battery, charging communication). It is a highly recommended purchase as a recent used car, provided that all software updates have been applied and that a competent MG dealership for after-sales service is nearby.
