The Kia XCeed (Generation I, type CD) is a compact crossover derived from the Ceed hatchback. Launched in 2019, it stands out with raised ground clearance, a sloping coupe-like roofline, and specific suspension settings (hydraulic bump stops) offering an excellent compromise between comfort and dynamism. It received a facelift in late 2022, introducing the GT-Line trim, new LED light signatures, and technological updates. Designed specifically for the European market, it has established itself as one of the brand's best-selling models on the Old Continent thanks to its attractive design and 7-year / 150,000 km manufacturer's warranty. Overall reliability is excellent, based on proven Hyundai-Kia group powertrains.
The Kia XCeed is an extremely rational and reassuring choice in the used car market. Its mechanical reliability is among the best in its category, particularly with the gasoline engine (1.5 T-GDI 160 hp to be favored for its versatility). The 7-year warranty covers most recent used models, offering rare peace of mind. The only drawbacks concern the DCT7 gearbox's comfort in dense urban environments and the loss of trunk volume on electrified versions. It is a highly recommended purchase.
