The third-generation Kia ProCeed (code CD) marks a radical break from its predecessors. Gone is the 3-door coupé; the ProCeed becomes an elegant 5-door 'Shooting Brake'. Designed, developed, and manufactured in Europe (Slovakia) specifically for the European market, it combines the boot volume of a traditional estate (594 liters) with a sleek, dynamic roofline. Positioned upmarket, it is only offered in sporty (GT-Line) or high-performance (GT) trims. The model received a facelift in late 2021, bringing the new Kia logo, redesigned bumpers, revised light signature, and technological updates (larger screens, generalized 48V mild hybridization). Overall, it is a very accomplished vehicle, covered by the reassuring 7-year / 150,000 km manufacturer's warranty, making it a particularly safe use
The Kia ProCeed (CD) is a 'love at first sight' choice that doesn't sacrifice practicality. It offers one of the most desirable silhouettes in the compact market while retaining excellent loading capacity and the recognized reliability of the Hyundai-Kia group. The 7-year warranty makes it an extremely secure used car purchase. The 1.5 T-GDI 160 hp engine (introduced with the facelift) represents the best compromise between performance, consumption, and daily driving pleasure. The GT version (204 hp) will delight dynamic driving enthusiasts, at the cost of firmer comfort. The only real point of vigilance concerns the DCT7 gearbox, whose dry clutches do not like exclusively urban use.
