🎯 Verdict

The KGM Torres is an excellent surprise for those looking for a family SUV with the look of a real 4x4 without sacrificing interior space. Mechanically, the 1.5 gasoline engine coupled with the Aisin gearbox is a robust and trouble-free combination, inherited from SsangYong's years of experience. However, its brick-like aerodynamics and weight are paid for dearly at the pump: fuel consumption is its biggest flaw. If you drive a lot, the 100% electric version (EVX) with its BYD battery is paradoxically the most rational and technologically advanced choice. As a recent used car, it is a vehicle to negotiate firmly due to the brand image (transition from SsangYong to KGM) which still frightens some buyers, leading to steep depreciation.
