🎯 Verdict

The KGM (SsangYong) Korando IV is the quintessential rational choice. If you are looking for a compact SUV to show off, look elsewhere. On the other hand, if you are looking for a robust, spacious vehicle capable of heavy towing and equipped with comprehensive features for the price of a used city car, it is an excellent deal. The 1.6 e-XDi diesel engine is the best choice in the lineup: it is reliable, torquey, and perfectly suited to the vehicle's size, provided you drive enough to avoid DPF clogging. The 1.5 petrol should be reserved for low mileage drivers due to its thirst for fuel. Buy it used to let the first owner absorb the heavy initial depreciation.
