🎯 Verdict

The facelifted third-generation Isuzu D-Max (2024+) remains an exceptional workhorse that has become just refined enough to appeal to private buyers. If your search is specifically for the petrol engine, be aware that it offers superior refinement and appreciable quietness, but at the cost of high fuel consumption and limited availability to imports or specific markets (Asia/Middle East). For 95% of buyers, the diesel engines (1.9L and especially the indestructible 3.0L) remain the sensible choice for ownership and resale. It is a highly recommended purchase for its durability, provided you verify that the early recalls (steering, suspension leaf springs) have been carried out.
