🎯 Verdict

The third-generation Hyundai i20 is an extremely rational city car that has managed to get a bit wild stylistically. Very spacious and equipped with top-tier onboard technology, it represents a safe purchase, especially as it benefits from a 5-year warranty. For purely urban use, the modest but indestructible 1.2 MPi is the sensible choice. For more versatility, the 1.0 T-GDi 100 hp is ideal, although it is advisable to prefer the manual gearbox (or iMT) if you do a lot of city driving, as the DCT7 gearbox can be rough in traffic jams. Finally, the i20 N is a future collector, offering an almost unbeatable price/pleasure ratio on the current market.
