🎯 Verdict

The Genesis GV70 is an extremely serious and refreshing alternative to German classicism. Its build quality is flawless. The 2.2 CRDi diesel engine is a very relevant choice for the European market: it offers generous torque, controlled fuel consumption, and solid mechanical reliability (Smartstream block), provided it is used on the highway to preserve the DPF/FAP. The gasoline versions have suffered from fuel pump issues, but these defects are largely covered by official recalls and the 5-year warranty. It is a recommended purchase, provided you ensure that all recalls (especially electrical and fuel systems) have been performed.
