Chevrolet Blazer III (2019 – 2025)

Reliability score : 7.4/10

The third-generation Chevrolet Blazer (introduced in 2019) marks a radical departure from its ancestors. 🎯 Verdict

The third-generation Chevrolet Blazer is an assertively styled SUV that experienced a difficult start in terms of reliability (2019-2021), weighed down by electronic and infotainment issues. However, data shows a clear improvement starting in 2022, raising the model to its category average. The choice of engine is crucial: the 3.6L V6 is by far the most recommendable for its robustness and drivability, while the 2.0T is an acceptable compromise if the maintenance history is spotless. The 2.5L is to be avoided as it is underpowered. Finally, the Blazer EV (2024) should be approached with extreme caution due to its severe early software problems.
