The BMW X3 (G01) represents the third generation of BMW's highly successful compact luxury crossover. Built on the modular CLAR (Cluster Architecture) platform, it brought significant improvements in driving dynamics, interior quality, and most importantly, reliability compared to its predecessor (F25). 🎯 Verdict

The BMW X3 (G01) is a standout in the premium compact SUV segment, largely thanks to the stellar reliability of its B-series petrol engines. The xDrive30i is the perfect all-rounder, offering ample power and great reliability. However, the M40i is the crown jewel; the B58 engine provides sports-car performance with bulletproof durability. Buying Advice: Buy a petrol model with confidence. If buying a pre-2021 model, check the steering rack and active grille shutters. If buying a diesel, ensure the EGR recall has been completed. Avoid the PHEV (30e) unless you strictly need it for tax purposes or short city commutes, as the standard petrols are less complex and offer better cargo space. Ditch the run-flat tires for standard premium tires to significantly improve ride comfort.
