The BMW 8 Series with the 840i engine (B58 engine) is undoubtedly the most intelligent choice in the range. It offers an ideal compromise between performance, high-level reliability, and (relatively) controlled running costs compared to the V8s. It is a highly recommended purchase if the history is clear.
