The BMW 3 Series G20 is undoubtedly one of the best premium family sedans of its generation. If you are looking for a vehicle to cover long distances, the diesel versions (320d and 330d) are engineering masterpieces, offering an unbeatable performance/consumption ratio. Basic mechanical reliability is excellent, provided that the EGR cooler recall has been carried out. The gasoline versions (320i, 330i) and the fabulous M340i are equally recommendable. The plug-in hybrid versions (320e/330e) are fiscally relevant but require more vigilance regarding their electrical history.
