🎯 Verdict

The Audi TT 8S is undoubtedly the most accomplished and reliable generation of the model. By correcting the major oil consumption defects of the 8J generation, Audi has made this coupé highly recommendable on the used market. The ideal choice for versatile use is the 2.0 TFSI (230 hp or 45 TFSI), which offers first-class performance with excellent reliability, provided that maintenance (especially S tronic gearbox and Haldex) has been rigorous. The TT RS remains a future collector's item thanks to its 5-cylinder engine, but requires a significant maintenance budget. Buy with confidence if the history is complete and transparent.
