Although spectacular and technologically advanced, its reliability is marred by critical recalls concerning the high-voltage battery modules and the air suspension.
The facelifted Audi e-tron GT (2024+) is an engineering marvel offering breathtaking performance and some of the best charging capabilities on the market thanks to its 800V architecture. However, the reliability record is heavily burdened by major industrial issues shared with the Porsche Taycan. The multiple recalls concerning short-circuit and fire risks of the high-voltage battery, as well as failures of the suspension and brake hoses, require absolute vigilance. Purchasing a recent used model or end-of-stock vehicle should only be considered if all recall campaigns have been certified by an official Audi dealer. Favor the 'S e-tron GT' version, which is more than sufficient for daily use and offers the best range.
