🎯 Verdict

Final Verdict The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Phase 1 is a car bought with the heart, but it doesn't have to be a nightmare for the head if you choose wisely. If you are looking for a petrol model, the entry-level 1.4 TB (120 PS) T-Jet is the hidden gem of the lineup. It lacks the complex MultiAir technology, making it incredibly reliable and cheap to run, while still offering decent punch. The 1.4 MultiAir (170 PS) is the best all-rounder for performance and economy, but extreme caution is advised for 2010-2012 models. Only buy one if the MultiAir unit has already been replaced with a newer revision, or if the service history is absolutely impeccable. Expect minor electrical annoyances (tailgate wiring, Blue&Me) and interior rattles regardless of the engine. Budget for a tailgate wiring repair kit immediately if it hasn't been done.
