🎯 Verdict

The Volkswagen Tiguan III (BW2) is an SUV that has reached full maturity. Volkswagen has intelligently corrected the ergonomic flaws of the previous generation while retaining the fundamentals that make the model successful: space, comfort, and versatility. The abandonment of entry-level powertrains in favor of 1.5 eTSI (mild-hybrid) blocks guarantees a very satisfactory minimum driving experience. The real revolution lies under the hood of the eHybrid versions, which, with nearly 100 km of real-world range and fast charging, can replace an electric vehicle for daily use while retaining thermal versatility for holidays. Buying advice: Opt for the 1.5 eTSI 150 hp for classic family use. High-mileage drivers will still find satisfaction with the excellent 2.0 TDI 150 hp. Avoid the very first productions from January/February 2024 if you are allergic to minor software updates at the dealership.
